Tech Note NetUSB-400i only: On top of each USB port is a green LED light (for a total of 4

lights). These LED lights indicate whether or not your USB device is supported in the current

software/ﬁrmware.

If your device is supported, you will have a solid green light when the device is logically connected

using USBIP Admin Utility on any of the client machine on network.

If the device is not supported the LED will not glow even if the Device is tried to connect using

USBIP Admin Utility on any of the client machine on network.

Note: Any device is to be disconnected or unplugged only after proper closure of related applica-

tions.

4.4.2 Automatic functions per USB Device

The USBIP Admin Utility allows to perform some actions automatically, once a USB device is

plugged into the NetUSB-400i USB Server. To enable and conﬁgure these options, right-click on

the device in the Device mapping Window and select Settings option (ﬁgure 33). These options are

eﬀective once the Device Mapping is started / initiated on your PC client.
